The Anti-Child Marriage Campaign implemented by the Solapur Rural Police to prevent child marriages in the district has been acknowledged by the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Mumbai. As a result, this initiative has been honored with the "Balsnehi Award 2024".

Shri. Atul Kulkarni, Superintendent of Police, Solapur Rural, has taken a commendable step by promoting organic farming at the Police Headquarters in Solapur. This initiative aims to encourage sustainable and chemical-free farming practices among the police personnel and the community. By utilizing available space for cultivating organic vegetables and crops, this project not only contributes to a healthier lifestyle but also spreads awareness about the importance of natural farming. The effort reflects a deep commitment to environmental conservation and self-reliance.

अतुल कुलकर्णी, पोलीस अधीक्षक, सोलापूर ग्रामीण यांनी पोलीस खात्याच्या अभिलेख पाहता मालमत्तचे गुन्ह्यातील मोठ्या प्रमाणातील आरोपी हे पारधी समाजातील असल्याचे लक्षात आल्या नंतर या समाजातील लोकांना गुन्हेगारीतून बाहेर काढण्यासाठी "पहाट" हा अभिनव उपक्रम सुरूवात केली आहे. सदर उपक्रमाची सुरूवात ०६ सप्टेंबर २०२४ रोजी पोलीस मुख्यालय, सोलापूर ग्रामीण येथील अलंकार हॉलमधील पारधी समाज बांधवाच्या मेळाव्याने केली आहे.
