During Ashadhi Wari 2026, lakhs of pilgrims (Warkaris) arrive at Pandharpur. Volunteers are needed to ensure a safe, smooth, and well-managed service for the devotees.

Compulsory duties assigned to coordinate the safety and seamless transition of pilgrimage processions.
Coordination
Keep in constant contact with the Palkhi chiefs and periodically report the arrival of the Palkhi in Solapur Rural limits to the deployment officer-in-charge.
उपस्थिती (Presence)
Compulsory presence along with the Palkhi during all rituals, ceremonies, and events taking place at the halt location in Pandharpur.
Security & Bandobast
Accompany the Palkhi full-time from the moment it enters the Solapur Rural District limit until it leaves, providing appropriate security bandobast (especially for officers listed in Sr. No. 3 to 11).
Law & Order
Ensure that no law and order issues arise.
