Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS)

As per the guidelines and orders of the Director General of Police, the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) has been implemented in Solapur Rural District. Under this system, all police stations have updated FIR-related databases online.

We have trained 90% of police personnel through Role-Based Training. Additionally, Wipro, the system integrator, has appointed a technical support person at the police station level.

Functioning of CCTNS System:

• All police officers and personnel are well-trained and have been provided with user IDs and passwords for the proper functioning of the CCTNS CAS software.
• All entries at the police station level, such as FIRs, missing persons, dead bodies, arrested persons, and criminals, are recorded online in the CCTNS CAS.
• CCTNS is a centralized project of the Central Government. All data entered into this system will be useful for criminal investigations across India.
